Professional Alloy Wheel Refurbishment

  1. Chemically Stripped

The first process of wheel refurbishing starts with placing the wheel in a stripping tank to remove all of the paint from the wheel.

  2. CLEANING

After the wheel has been stripped of the paint the wheel is jet washed clean.

  3. Media Blasting

The third process of wheel refurbishing starts with light media blasting to remove any remaining paint residue and surface corrosion from the entire wheel, achieved by using the machine pictured.

  4. Preparation

Next the wheel needs to have any of the kerbing marks removed, to do this we use a purpose made machine using a selection of different discs and grinding wheels
Should the wheel have very deep marks then the area is tig welded to fill in the damage.

(extra costs apply if this is required)

  5. PRIMER COAT

The wheel is then preheated in our oven and a powder coat primer is applied.

  6. Base Coat

A base coat is then applied using a water based high quality paint.

  7. Final Lacquer Coat

A final coat of lacquer is applied using only the best quality acrylic powder and the wheel is returned to the oven.
